Terms of Service
The rules for using KaryaLog
These terms govern your organization's use of the KaryaLog platform — the web dashboard, the mobile app, and the API behind them. By creating a workspace or accepting an invite to one, you agree to them.
Effective 2 September 2026 · Version 1.0
Acceptance of terms
By creating a KaryaLog workspace, accepting an invite to join one as an employee, or otherwise accessing the KaryaLog web dashboard, mobile app, or API (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're accepting on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
See also our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data collected through the Service and is incorporated into these terms by reference.
The service
KaryaLog is a field-workforce management platform: attendance and check-in, task assignment, customer visits, leads/CRM, field service tickets, expense claims, orders and inventory, and reporting — accessed through a web dashboard for managers/admins and a mobile app for field employees.
We may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll try to give reasonable notice before removing a feature your organization actively relies on.
Accounts & organizations
- An organization is created by whoever signs up first for their company/team — that person becomes the Organization Admin.
- Organization Admins add employees, assign roles and permissions, and control what each role can see and do within the workspace.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
Subscriptions & billing
KaryaLog is billed per active employee, per month, on the plan your organization selects (Starter, Growth, or a custom Enterprise plan). Current pricing is shown on our Pricing page.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay; we don't store your card or bank details ourselves.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand by an Organization Admin.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we state otherwise at the time of purchase.
- If a trial period is offered, we'll clearly state its length and what happens when it ends.
- We may suspend access if payment fails and isn't resolved within a reasonable grace period.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to violate anyone's rights.
- Attempt to access another organization's data without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where the law explicitly allows it.
- Probe, scan, or test the Service's security without our prior written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Use automated means to access the Service outside the official app and API.
Data ownership
Your organization owns the data it puts into KaryaLog — employee records, attendance logs, tasks, visits, customer data, and everything else your team creates. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't sell it.
We process that data to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. When an organization's subscription ends, we retain its data for a reasonable period in case of reactivation, then delete or anonymize it, except where we're legally required to keep it longer.
Intellectual property
KaryaLog, its logo, and the software behind the Service are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to identify the Service you're using.
We grant your organization a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its internal business purposes, for as long as your subscription is active.
Termination
- An Organization Admin can cancel the subscription and close the workspace at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, non-payment, or activity that puts other users or the Service at risk.
- Where reasonably possible, we'll give notice before termination and a window to export your organization's data.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (data ownership, disclaimers, governing law) continue to apply.
Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We work to keep KaryaLog reliable but don't guarantee it will be error-free or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KaryaLog is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your organization paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify Organization Admins. Continuing to use KaryaLog after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
